From the Lab to the Vineyard: Our Journey
We started Neu Cellars when I was 26, driven by our shared passion for natural wine and the science of fermentation. After a stint at a conventional winery in Sonoma, where the wine dream felt a bit lifeless, we discovered Pleasantry in Cincinnati—a natural wine-only spot that reignited our passion. Each bottle burst with character, as unique as a fingerprint.
Our journey took a new turn when my dad—my best friend and business partner—bought 15 acres in Northport in 2020. We began planting in 2021 and embraced the challenges of building an organic vineyard. His hard work and determination are the heart of Neu Cellars.
